Being a successful designer for me is finding the balance between adding visual layers and history while also knowing how to edit. Creating the visual story helps connect the audience to our characters. The room they’re in or the prop they’re touching, the wallpaper behind them all help to relate the story that we’re trying to tell and help to create a bridge between the character, their world and then our world as an audience.
